Some recent updates

We have wanted to alert readers to a number of updates. We have recently learned about the existence of a fully annotated, and potentially censored 1555 edition (II/P27), which is now described. We also provide a new and more complete description of the St John’s College copy (II/247) in the updates section of this website, with special thanks to David Pearson. A publication by Krzysztof Nierzwicki sheds new light on the copy currently in Torun (II/190). Sara Charles’s article in Library & Information History provides more detailed information on the copies preserved in the British Library and at University College London. We are in the process of providing further updates on copies in Copenhagen and at Gonville & Caius College, Cambridge.
